Mr. Leslie B. Orange, 80, of Tracy City, passed peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on May 25, 1945, in Tracy City, to Samuel Buford Orange and Minnie Ellen Sanders Orange, both of whom preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, Leslie is preceded in death by his fur granddaughter, Sasha, and brothers, Wallace, Jim, and George Orange.

She was born in Pelham on Dec. 3, 1945, to the late Madison Monroe Adams, Jr., and the late Wynona Louise Hamilton Adams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Lester, Sr.; brother, Bobby Ray Adams; sisters, Patricia Ruth Adams and Mary Louise Adams Brawley; and nephew, “Sammy” Brawley.

Nelda Jean Harris, 96

Monteagle resident Nelda Jean Harris, 96, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was born in Monteagle on September 17, 1929, to the late John Albert and Agnes Marie Foutch Metcalfe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Harris; brother, Billy Foutch Metcalfe (Sarah); sisters, Joann Cupp (Jack), Barbara Gail Harris, and Linda Cox; sister-in-law, Cathleen Harris Bell; and brother-in-law, Jay C. Harris Jr. Aunt Nell was a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ in Hixon, Tenn. She enjoyed her Tuesday Bible class and also enjoyed playing dominos. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; brother in laws, Wendall Harris and Wayne Cox all of whom loved her dearly. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Cumberland Funeral Home in Monteagle with Bro. Bobby Golden officiating. Burial followed at City Cemetery in Tracy City.
