Mrs. Anna Carol Lester, age 80, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, April 30, 2026. She was born in Pelham on Dec. 3, 1945, to the late Madison Monroe Adams, Jr., and the late Wynona Louise Hamilton Adams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy L. Lester, Sr.; brother, Bobby Ray Adams; sisters, Patricia Ruth Adams and Mary Louise Adams Brawley; and nephew, “Sammy” Brawley.

Anna enjoyed riding her motorcycle and loved traveling. She was a devoted, caring wife, and retired from The Bridge after many years of dedicated service.

She is survived by her son, Roy Lester, Jr. (Paula) of Tullahoma; granddaughter, Katherine Lester of Florence, CO; grandson, Dominick Carter of Tullahoma; great granddaughter, Kynlee Williams of Cañon City, CO; nephew, David Brawley (Karin) of Tracy City, and Brad Adams of Pisgah, AL; nieces, Patsy Tate of Chattanooga, Tina Adams of Pisgah, AL, and Bobbie Jo Ashley (James) of Winchester.

The funeral service will be Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Parson officiating. Burial will follow at Monteagle Cemetery. There will be a period of visitation with the family on May 8 from 4-8 p.m. and again on May 9 from 9 a.m. until time of service.
