The Beersheba Springs Historical Society (BSHS) is hosting a program Saturday, July 25 at 4 p.m. when Eugene Ham - teacher, historian and storyteller - will speak on the house which once belonged to Charles Dahlgren and more about the man for whom the avenue was named. He will reference the Dahlgren biography researched and written by Hershel Gower, a beloved Beersheban and Vanderbilt professor. Eugene resides in Fayetteville where his famous storytelling and teaching youth has passed down wisdom and knowledge that is priceless and will long outlive the man himself.
