Grundy County senior Scarlet Walkden and junior Abby Parker each placed at last week’s TSSAA Class A Track and Field State Championships at the University of Tennessee.

The University of the the South dealt official offers to rising Grundy County seniors Vince Birant and Aiden Melton this week.

Grundy County’s Jaden Ruehling is set to join the Tullahoma Test Pilots on their maiden flight this summer when the collegiate summer baseball team takes the field for the first time.

Abby Parker and Scarlet Walkden will become the first track and field athletes to represent Grundy County High School at the TSSAA State Championships when they travel to Knoxville for next week’s Class A competitions.

Grundy County basketball’s Gracie Panter, volleyball’s Scarlet Walkden, and track and field’s Lillian Winton each recently signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
