Spring break is officially over and students are already getting prepared for summer.

Lady Jackets softball earns back-to-back wins
The GCHS softball team picked up its first two wins of the season last week. The Lady Jackets bested Cumberland County 6-3 at home last Thursday before downing Lookout Valley 9-1 in Chattanooga on Saturday.
GCHS garners state recognition
Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett announced that 56 Tennessee high schools were recipients of the Anne Dallas Dudley Award for meeting student voter registration thresholds.
SAS MS track break two school records
On Wednesday, March 18, the St. Andrew’s-Sewanee middle school track team traveled to Siegel High School to compete in the Siegel 4 MS Meet, where both the boys’ and girls’ teams turned in strong performances.
SAS boys soccer 2-1
On Tuesday, March 24, the SAS Varsity Boys Soccer Team hosted the Community High School Vikings from Unionville. The Mountain Lions emerged from the match victorious with a score of 2-0.

Grundy middle school baseball wins fourth in a row
The Junior Jackets baseball team earned its fourth straight victory Monday in Coalmont with a 10-7 win over Sequatchie County.
