Mr. Leslie B. Orange, 80, of Tracy City, passed peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on May 25, 1945, in Tracy City, to Samuel Buford Orange and Minnie Ellen Sanders Orange, both of whom preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, Leslie is preceded in death by his fur granddaughter, Sasha, and brothers, Wallace, Jim, and George Orange.

He was a proud coalminer and was an avid farmer and loved growing things. He took pride in his impeccably tidy yard. His love wasn’t always spoken, but it was there, steady as the earth he worked and as enduring as the things he grew.

Left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Lesley Michell Orange; sisters, Irene Fackrell and Ruby Campbell; several nieces and nephews, and a special thank you to Marg.

A funeral service was held at Cumberland Funeral Home, Foster and Lay Chapel, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 2 p.m. with Bro. James Frizzell and Bro. Erik Shelton officiating with a burial to follow at Orange Hill Cemetery. There was a period of visitation with the family on Monday, May 11, from 4-9 p.m.
