Three-year-old Acelynn Sanders was all smiles over the new pink winter coat she got at Greta Carrick Memorial Library’s third annual Coats 4 Kids. Acelynn is the daughter of Taylor Sanders of Coalmont. Librarian Carol Volpi said 76 coats and 100 hats were distributed. “Seeing the kids smile made it all worth it,” Volpi said as she thanked sponsors and volunteers who worked for nearly two months to make the event happen. The library still has coats left to give out. Stop by from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays or 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays at the library located at 6650 SR-56 if your child needs a winter coat.
