Shooting Hunger donation

Representatives from Tennessee Farm Bureau, Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, and Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st recently presented a combined donation of $3,000 to the Grundy County Food Bank to help provide meals for children and families facing food insecurity in Grundy County.
The funds were raised through the annual Shooting Hunger Sporting Clays Shoots, a statewide initiative dedicated to fighting hunger across Tennessee. Since its inception in 2015, Shooting Hunger events have helped provide more than 2.5 million meals to Tennesseans in need. Additional information about the program can be found at www.shootinghunger.com.
In addition to the Shooting Hunger contribution, the Grundy County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee Gives Back Program donated an additional $500 to support the Food Bank. These funds were raised through community collection boxes and personal donations from local supporters.
The Grundy County Food Bank also received a separate $200 donation from an individual community member, further demonstrating the generosity and compassion of Grundy County residents.
Grundy County Farm Bureau remains a strong advocate for the Grundy County Food Bank and is committed to supporting its mission through financial contributions, community awareness efforts, and ongoing volunteer support. Together, these partnerships help ensure that local children and families have access to nutritious meals and essential resources.
