Southern Breeze with Jeremy Stone and Waylon Fincher will be performing in Altamont Veterans Memorial Park at 170 Cumberland Street this Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. Sugar Babe’s Fizz & Squeeze will be there for sweet treats and drinks, and Altamont Heritage Museum with have Hamburgers and other concessions. Children can enjoy the Ricky Sons Jungle Gym while parents relax to good music. Bring your chairs and enjoy a lovely September evening in Altamont. In case of rain the concert will move to Florence Scruggs Auditorium at 1433 Main Street.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, the Altamont Jam Group will be jamming at Greeter Falls Campground on Greeter Falls Road in Altamont. Feel free to bring your acoustic instrument and join in. This is an open air jam and food will be available at Greeter Falls Grill. Chairs are available, but you may bring you favorite lawn chair if you like.

Both music events are free, but you may feel free to donate to musicians where tip jars are available.
