Leadership is not about standing above people and telling them what to do. True leadership is about standing beside them, serving alongside them, and being willing to go first.

As a United States Air Force veteran, I learned that the strongest teams are built on trust, sacrifice, and looking out for one another. In the military, we were taught to always have each other’s backs. We understood that success was never about one individual, it was about working together as a team and ensuring that no one was left behind. 

During my time serving as an Element Leader in my flight, I discovered that people do not follow titles; they follow leaders who lead by example. The best way to earn trust was not by pointing from a distance, but by getting into the trenches, working alongside the team, and demonstrating a willingness to do the hard work myself. Once people saw that I would never ask them to do something I was unwilling to do, we became an unstoppable force. That same philosophy guides me today.

If elected as your County Mayor, I will be a servant leader who listens, works, and stands alongside the people of Grundy County. I will never look down on anyone because I believe every citizen deserves respect, dignity, and a voice in the future of our community. I will not lead from behind a desk. I will be present, engaged, and committed to finding solutions together.

Since arriving in Grundy County, I have dedicated my time to serving others through community outreach, recovery advocacy, and helping those in need. I have spent countless hours working directly with people on the streets, in our neighborhoods, and throughout our community.

Grundy County is our home. Together, through faith, service, and hard work, we can build a stronger future for every family and every generation to come.
