Gerald and Jana Barrett, of Altamont, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2026. Their daughters Shala Wohlgemuth, Ashli Barrett and Emily Elrod treated them with a surprise celebration at the Elrod home in the Cumberland Heights Community on June 7. The Barretts were married June 4, 1976, at Air View Baptist Church in Skymont.
