The Yellow Jackets will have their second scrimmage of the fall on Friday at John A. Anderson Field in Tracy City. They face off against the Red Raiders of Coffee County and the Warriors of Bledsoe County. The scrimmage begins at 6 p.m. and everyone is encouraged to attend and support the team.
“We’d love a big crowd to come out and support these kids. They’re working hard and need the fans behind them. They need to know their hard work is being recognized,” said Coach Casey Tate.
“Both of the scrimmages ended in 0-0 ties. We showed improvement on both offense and defense but still have a lot of work to do if we want to be ready for the season opener. We’re going to give it everything we have to be ready,” added the coach.
Get out and support the Yellow Jackets Friday night and relive a little of days gone by at the old John A. Anderson field.
