On May 18, three members of the Kirby-Smith Chapter 337 of Sewanee attended the rededication ceremony of a recently restored Confederate monument in Mulberry. The event was hosted by UDC chapters Capt. Calvin C. Brewer 2505 of Manchester, and the Zollicoffer Fulton 16 of Fayetteville. The guest of honor was Tennessee Division President Brenda Hall McDonald of Kingston. The monument was erected on September 27, 1909, by UDC Chapter 96 which has since disbanded.
