Grundy County Mayor Michael Brady and Monteagle Mayor Marilyn Rodman announced a Tri-County Job Fair to be held at Monteagle City Hall September 22, from 1p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development will have the Career Coach, a mobile computer lab with ten workstations and internet access, onsite with staff available to assist individuals in preparing resumes.
Educational institutions expected to attend include Motlow State Community College, Tennessee College of Applied Technology at McMinnville, and Grundy County Adult Education. Other agencies who will be at the event are: Batesville, Beaulieu of America, Bridgestone/Firestone at McMinnville, JSP, Lodge Manufacturing, O’Neil Color and Compounding, Platinum Recruiting, Ply Gem Siding Group, Resource MFG, Surge Staffing, The Bridge at South Pittsburg, Toyo Seat/Metro Industrial, UltiMachine, and Yorozu.
Brady and Rodman express that the event “is an excellent opportunity for area residents to gain valuable enrollment information from local colleges and technical schools, as well as provide resumes and submit applications to area employers.”
