Tracy City Downtown Revitalization Committee Scores Big

Tracy City RevitalRepresentatives from the downtown’s program of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development visited Tracy City on Monday, July 28. This meeting concluded the Tracy City Downtown Revitalization Program. The committee has moved Tracy City forward since its application with the state on November 1, 2012. Six new businesses have been added to the downtown area the committee has assisted nine businesses with parking and site improvements and building. New signs have been erected at Highway 41 entering from Coalmont, State Highway 56, and Highway 41 entering from Monteagle. A beautiful new brochure promotes the town and its attractions, and other improvements are coming to fruition.
