The project to bring the well-known steakhouse in the 2900 block of Decherd Boulevard has been in the works for a couple of years, and now the end to preparatory work is in sight.
Tim and Jeanette Farris will be the owners of the new establishment and will bring Tony Roma’s signature sauces, ribs and steaks to Franklin County.
Robertson-Vaughn Construction Co. LLC will do the contracting and be in charge of brining the restaurant to life.
The restaurant will include an outdoor patio area that will total 2,000 square feet and 7,000 square feet in inside seating with a total of 9,000 square feet. A bar area will have access to both outside and inside seating areas with roughly 207 or so being able to dine at the restaurant.
Tim Farris said he was looking for a nice and unique steakhouse to be brought into the area for customers.
“They can expect a friendly, family atmosphere with good steaks and ribs,” Farris said. “I think it will be a good draw for people all over because of Tony Roma’s four different signature sauces.”
Farris added that he thinks this will allow Franklin County residents the opportunity to save gas money with the caliber of restaurant by not feeling compelled to go elsewhere.
The restaurant will also feature a private backroom that will host larger parties, business functions or any meetings of any kind with video equipment available to display any plans or presentations.
