distracted drivingApril is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and the Tracy City Police Department is proud to join with Tracy Elementary School to educate our youth on the dangers of texting and driving. On Thursday, Tracy Elementary eighth graders helped spread the word about not texting and driving by displaying a big “Thumbs Down” to this dangerous activity. “It was great to get the opportunity to speak to this wonderful group of students today about the dangers of distracted driving, especially texting and driving.” said Chief Wilder. TCPD wants to thank Principal Glenda Dykes and Coach Bubba Conry for making this event possible.
