Two arrests have been made in the Thanksgiving Day burglary of Palmer Drugs. Grundy County Sheriff Clint Shrum confirmed that Andy King (58), and Allen Anthony King (66), both of Palmer, broke into the pharmacy on Thanksgiving Day of last year.
According to Shrum, lead investigator Captain Greg Higgins, broke the case after processing some leads that came to his attention over the past few weeks.
“Captain Higgins has been diligent about solving this case. His persistence paid off early this week,” stated Shrum.
Andy King, arrested on July 20, was charged with aggravated burglary and vandalism and will appear in court August 10. He is currently incarcerated with the Tennessee Department of Corrections on other charges.
Allen King, arrested on July 24, was charged with aggravated burglary, criminal conspiracy and vandalism relating to the incident. King is also currently incarcerated in another facility serving time on other charges
