Posted on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:07 am

The students and faculty of Swiss Memorial, Coalmont, North, Palmer, Tracy City, and Pelham elementary schools have worked together to collect donations for The Ronald McDonald House Charities in Chattanooga. Elementary school counselors Natasha Clark, Amy Chadd, and Ashley Thomas coordinated and promoted collections by talking with students about the foundation and what the Ronald McDonald House offers to families in need. With the generous contributions made by the students and families of Grundy County, over $1,200 worth of donations were delivered to the charity. The Ronald McDonald House Charities houses 26 families every day and serve nearly 600 families every year.
