Six student ambassadors were chosen to represent the eighth grade class at Monteagle Elementary this year. This program began two years ago at MES and continues to be a coveted title for eighth grade students. Ambassadors get to travel around to different area schools and talk about things that are happening at the schools and share ideas from MES. They are also responsible for welcoming any visitors who come to MES with special assemblies, programs, and potential students. Students who are chosen have to demonstrate good attendance, respectful attitudes, and be academically focused. They must be able to communicate with adults as well as with other students when touring schools. It is a great honor to be chosen to represent the school in this capacity and gain experience from serving the school. This year’s ambassadors are: Bell Jones, Taylor Payne, Hannah Butner, Enoch Scott, Grayson Lawson, and Isabel Tomes.
