The Yellow Jackets played their most competitive game of the season last Friday in Dunlap, but 21 unanswered points by Sequatchie County doomed Grundy to a 42-12 region defeat.

The Lady Yellow Jackets fell in two districts games. They lost to Soddy Daisy Lady Trojans 3-0 and to the Sequatchie County Lady Indians 5-4.

Justin and Jackson Jacobs of Pelham competed last week at the 2022 Bassmasters High School National Championship at Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. Justin and Jacob scored in 191th out of 314 boats competing in this year’s tournament.
