SMES char traitThe Swiss Memorial Elementary School staff acknowledged students displaying the character trait of Self-Control for the month of September. Students were presented with a certificate, “Paw Bucks,” and a drink. Principal Kasey Woodlee defines self-control as the “ability to control one’s emotions, behavior, and desires in the face of external demands; to function in society.”
