SMES POSTER CONTEST ENCOURAGES STUDENT TO CONSIDER FUTURE
Alissa Dodson, a student at Swiss Memorial Elementary School, was recently awarded $25 for first place in a career poster contest. The competing students created a career poster and added a page of research on the back. This process included choosing a school, finding out what subjects they would study, and how long it would take for them to get their degree. The contest was part of a Transition School to Work grant awarded to the Grundy County High School this year. Pictured are (l to r): Susan Scissom of Citizens Tri-county Bank and Alissa Dodson.
