Tennessee State Representative Paul Sherrell will celebrate his 60th birthday on March 28. The White County Republican represents Grundy, Warren, and White counties in the Tennessee General Assembly. Just starting his second term, Sherrell is the majority floor leader in the House.
Sherrell and his wife Marinda live on Bon Aire Mountain, north of Sparta, and have a daughter, Marlie, and a son, Lee. They attend Bondecroft Baptist Church.
Like the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, the Tennessee House is designed to be the state office closest to the people with elections every two years; therefore, it is vital that they personally visit and mingle with the citizens whom they represent.
Representative Sherrell is constantly in touch with his constituents, and pastor Ray Winton of Coalmont summed it up best when he said, “Paul has become one of us.”
If you would like to send a card to mark this milestone birthday, the address is State Representative Paul Sherrell, 425 5th Ave. North, 3408 Cordell Hull Building, Nashville, TN 37243.
