Sentencings scheduled for Christopher Land, Anthony Bosio, Kenneth Britton, Randy Stiefel, and Jamie Sweeton originally scheduled for September 18-19, have been continued to November. A jury trial for co-defendants Tony Britton and James Ronald Jones is scheduled to begin on September 18. Some of the same witnesses scheduled to testify at that trial are also scheduled to testify at the sentencings, therefore the court ordered the sentencing to be held over until November.
Christopher Land, charged with conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, burglary of a pharmacy, and aiding and abetting in December 2016, entered a plea agreement in March, and is now set to be sentenced on November 13.
Anthony Bosio, charged with conspiracy to distribute oxycodone in December 2016, pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute Schedule II substances, to include oxycodone, in February. His new sentencing date is November 13.
Kenneth Britton, charged with conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, made a plea agreement in March, and will now be sentenced on November 20. In March, Britton told the court he would drive the trail car and serve as a lookout for police during the burglaries.
Randy Stiefel and Jamie Sweeton, both charged with conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and burglary of a pharmacy, pled guilty earlier this year, and will be sentenced on November 20.
Tony Britton and James Ronald Jones did not make a plea agreement and will face a jury beginning September 18. The two were indicted in November 2017, by the United States District Court for the Eastern district of Kentucky. Britton was indicted for conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, burglary of a pharmacy, and aiding and abetting as well as a forfeiture allegation. Jones was indicted on conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and a forfeiture allegation.
