A search warrant was executed at Dixie Land Auto owned by Stan Brown, located at 9941 SR 56, in Coalmont, on Wednesday morning.
District Attorney General Mike Taylor confirmed to Channel 9 News on Wednesday, that the 9th Judicial Drug Task Force (DTF) executed the warrant to the president of the Grundy County High School Football Booster Club. Brown serves as the current president of the football booster club.
According to Taylor’s statement, DTF received a tip that the president of the football booster club was stocking and selling counterfeit name-brand items such as The North Face jackets. Agents will go through the evidence seized to determine if they are counterfeit.
Brown had not been charged with anything as off Thursday morning. Also, is unclear at this time whether any alleged criminal behavior was connected to Brown’s role as the booster club president.
