The van, transporting two high school students and one elementary student, was rear ended after stopping for a car in front to turn left.
There were no serious injuries, but one high school student was being treated by EMS onsite. Grundy County Sheriff Clint Shrum said none of those involved in the accident were being transported to the hospital at this time.
Grundy County Schools Transportation Director Billy Moon stated that they were waiting for parents to arrive to determine if the students involved in the crash would go on to school or return home.
The Coalmont Fire Department is directing traffic at the crash scene and there are no backups.
More details as they become available.
