Hannah Phillips, the daughter of Eddie and Mandy Phillips of Monteagle, has signed with Cleveland State to continue her education and her basketball career.

A student at Marion County High School, Phillips was named to the 6A All-District team her junior year and to the 3A All-Region and 6A All -District teams her senior year. She was named 6A District MVP her senior year.

Phillips was a member of the Lady Belles AAU team for three years, winning USBA national championships in 2014 and 2016.

“We are excited to have Hannah on our team for the next season,” said Lady Cougars Head Coach Dan Lumpkin. “She is an adept scorer from the three-point line and has proven that when closely guarded on the perimeter, she can go inside and score off the dribble.”
