Peppermint Bark

1 cup crushed candy canes

2 lbs white chocolate


Place candy canes in a zip-lock bag and hammer until they are about 1/4 inch in size or smaller. Melt chocolate in a double boiler (you can also melt in the microwave in small batches). Spread chocolate on a cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top (you can gently press them into the chocolate with a spatula). Place in refrigerator for about 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces.
