Margaret Olene Byars, 86, of Beersheba Springs, passed away Jan. 27, 2023, at her home. She was born Sept. 20, 1936, to the late Stanley Sr. and Elsie Fults Campbell.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 20 in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Jason Blake and Jody Campbell officiating. Burial followed at Fults Cemetery.

Buena Nunley Meeks, 75, of Tracy City, passed away Jan. 23, 2023. Meeks was born on April 4, 1947, to the late Howard and Elsie Nunley.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 25 in the Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Campbell officiating. Burial followed at Pryor Ridge Cemetery.

Cynthia Gay “Cindy” Borne, 62, passed away Jan. 29, 2023, at her home with family at her bedside. Borne was born in Palmer to the late Thomas Jackson Layne and Margie Juanita King Layne.
Funeral services will be held Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Burketts Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation is Feb. 2, from 4-9 p.m. at Layne Funeral Home in Palmer.

James Byron Hicks, 38, passed away Jan. 30, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City. He was born in Chattanooga on March 9, 1984, to the late Glendon Farrell Hicks Sr. and Eunice Ann Shoemate Hicks.
Services were private. Burial at Fall Creek Cemetery.
