QUINN, KATHERINE, REBECCA, (Katie Potts Quinn), of Palmer, age 72, passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer, Tennessee. She was born in Vienna, Illinois on January 6, 1943 to Joe and Bethel Simmons Potts who preceded her in death along with her husband, Jerry Quinn; sisters, Josie Marie Keeler, Helen Hollenger, June Buck, Mavie Rasmussen and Janie Potts. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Barton, Elgin, IL; sister, Audrey Combs, Mayflower, Arkansas; brothers, Rev. John (Annetta) Potts, Whitwell, TN and Joe (Gloria) Potts, Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Jerry Lynn and Doug “Pudge” Barton; several nieces and nephews. Visitation was Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. Burial was in the Taylor Cemetery in Vienna, Illinois on Wednesday July 29, 2015 with Bro. John Potts officiating. SANDERS, ELSIE, JUANITA, DYKES, age 76, of Tracy City, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was a native of Tracy City, a daughter of the late Leslie Dykes and Minnie Lee Campbell Dykes and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sanders; son, Earl Sanders; daughter, Elaine Nunley. Mrs. Sanders was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her children, James (Siobhan) Sanders, Brooksville, FL, Bo (Abby) Sanders, Tracy City, Tammy Meeks (Wayne Roberts), Tracy City; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ELLIOTT, GENEVA, BELL, “BLUIE”, age 94 of Sewanee, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Avalon Hospice in Chattanooga. She was born on April 20, 1921 in Monteagle to the late Silas Samuel and Mattie Thomas Gregory, and later worked as Kitchen Manager at the Sewanee Inn. Geneva was a member of Eastern Star and loved to cook and crochet. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Ernest Glenn Lautzenheiser and William A. Elliott; brothers, James Collis Gregory, Oliver Charles Gregory, Samuel Kingley Gregory, and Robert Lee Gregory; and sisters, Virginia Adline Griswold, Aurelia Dell Smith, Roberta Ann Alexander, and Janet G. Gragson.
She is survived by daughters, Loretta (Jack) Johnson and Geneva (Ray) Shelton; step-son, Ernest Glenn Lautzenheiser, Jr.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2015 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with interment following at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
