JACKS, REATHA, MAE, age 75, of Palmer passed away Friday November 28, 2014. She was a member of the Griffith’s Creek Congregational Methodist Church. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee August 16, 1939 to Hubert and Gladys Davis Henry who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Rev. James Jacks; sons, Tony Pickett, Columbus, GA, Tim (Rhonda) Pickett, Raleigh, NC and Jeff Pickett, Louisville, KY; sisters, Liz (Steve) Privett, Palmer, Betty (Austin) Patterson, Red Bud, GA and Bonnie (Butch) Meeks, Griffiths Creek; brothers, Hobert (Willie Mae) Henry, Davenport, IA, Larry (Debbie) Henry and Jackie (Norma) Henry of Palmer; grandchildren, Sarah, Stephanie and Tyler; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Joe Sanders officiating and burial followed in the Palmer Cemetery.

CAMPBELL, CHARLES, WAYNE, age 71, of Whitwell, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014. Charles was a member of the Morganville Church of Christ. He served in the US Army in Defense Command. Charles retired from Tecumseh Products Company as a Certified Quality engineer in 2007. He was also previously employed at 3M – General Electric and Mueller Company. He was a wonderful husband, father, and poppy who touched so many lives by the life he lived, always willing to do for others. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Jessie Low Campbell; sister, Rhonda Jean Campbell.
Those left to hold his love in their hearts are his wife Diane, daughter, Paige (Jeff) Stover of Buford, Ga; grandchildren, Hillary Campbell and Jake Stover; sister, Mary Katherine Gifford of Columbia, TN; brother, James (Theresia) Campbell of Palmer, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 30, 2014 with Minister Wally Kirby & Tommy Turner officiating. Interment was at Red Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.

CALDWELL, CARL, JUNIOR, age 67, of Altamont, passed away at his home Saturday November 29, 2014. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on August 8, 1947 to Marcus Caldwell and Myra Jeanetta Layman Caldwell Scroggins who preceded him in death along with his sister, Treva Lois Bean. He is survived by his sisters, Anita (Tony) Campbell, Liz Ryder, Delta (George) Burkowitz and Linda (Larry) Burnett; brothers, Ray (Joyce) Caldwell and Larry (Lisa) Myers; loving step-father to Lorie and Wendy and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dal Barrett officiating and burial followed in the Fall Creek Cemetery with Military Honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
