Our beloved ERIC RYAN POTTER, passed away at his home in Cocoa Beach, Florida on December 14, 2014. Eric was born August 19, 1984 in Cocoa Beach, FL. He attended Mila Elementary and Edgewood Jr. High through 8th grade. He graduated from Grundy County High School and attended Chattanooga State College. He was employed at The Lobster Shanty in Cocoa Beach.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella May Potter in August 2009; grandparents, Auby F. Sr. and Evelyn Heard Potter; uncles, Auby F. Potter Jr., Alvie E. Potter; aunt June Chavez. He is survived by aunts, Lisa and Charlotte Potter both from Cocoa Beach, FL, Reba P. Simmons, Shirley P. Baker, Lois P. Grissom and Ruth P. Rogers all from Tennessee, and Liz Armstrong, Ft. Wayne, IN; uncles; Steve Potter and Tommy Potter, TN; special cousins, Sarah and Neal Potter, Cocoa Beach, FL.

FOWLER, JERRY, LYNN, age 61, of Altamont, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on January 1, 2015.  Born to the late Melvin G. and Virginia (Cates) Fowler in Huntland, he later served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth Fowler.  He is survived by daughter, Jennifer Fowler of Altamont, TN; sons, Paul (Sabrina) Fowler of Lebanon, TN, and Joey (Tiffany) Fowler of Hartsville, TN; sisters, Nina (Johnny) Merritt of Eagleville, TN, Margaret (Darce) Putnam of Lascassas, TN, Patsy Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, Kathy (Steve) Meadow of Smyrna, TN, Susan Gifford of Monteagle, TN, and Gay (Garry) Hannah of Estill Springs, TN; brothers, Doyle Fowler of Estill Springs, TN, and Glenn Fowler of Manchester, TN; seven grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.

SITZ, ALVIE, LEON, age 75, entered a new life with the Lord on December 29, 2014 at Johnson City Hospital in Johnson City, TN. He is survived by one sister, Betty Sitz Cyr of Tracy City. Preceding him in death were four sisters that died as infants and six other sisters, Barbara (Howard) Meeks, Juanita (Dee) Bracken, Dorothy (Bill) Wiggins, Evelyn (Leonard) Townsend, 3Frances (Bill) Tate, June (John) Simon. Two brothers Charles “Little Dan” Sitz, and Perry “Cotton” Sitz. His parents Charlie “Dan” and Viola Perry Sitz. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. Alvie was a special person and had been in state care at Green Valley Developmental Center in Greenville, TN most of his life. He was a very happy person in his own life and had many friends at the facility who loved him as a brother and he loved the outdoors. A memorial service was held Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Alex Rollins and Tyler McCullough officiating.

CAMBELL, SYLVIA, BEATRICE, FRISBEE, age 74, of Gruetli-Laager, passed away at her home Wednesday December 31, 2014.  She was born in Searcy, Arkansas to Clarence and Millie M. Pettit Jones who preceded her in death along with her husband, Harvey Lee Frisbee who died in 1981, husband, Melvin Campbell who died in 2012; sisters, Vesta, Phoebe, Jean, Ella and Rose; brother, Grady; daughters, Patricia Ann Little and Evon Campbell; grandson, Shawn; great grandson, Dakota.  She was a member of the Plainview Community Church. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Russell) Nunley; sons, David Lee (Donna) Frisbee, Cusion, Ok James Ray (Diane) Frisbee, Altamont, TN; step-children, Kenneth, Jimmy, Daniel and Steve Campbell, Donna (Leonard) Leggett; sisters, Annie Sue Garrison and Virginia Bray; brother-in-law, Don (Sheila) Crouch, Perkins, OK; 26 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Mike Rigsby and Claude Hoback officiating. Burial followed in the Little Johnny Myers Cemetery.

KING, JIMMY, DEAN, age 74, of Palmer, died Monday, January 5, 2015. He was born on August 04, 1940 to Robert “Bob” and Katherine “Katie” Watts King who preceded him in death along with his brother, Franklin King; sisters, Mildred King, Louise Laws and Ella Snow.  He is survived by his brother, Robert “Bud” King and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister David Snow officiating and burial followed in the Palmer Cemetery. Online condolences made at www.laynefueralhome.com.
