CLAY, SELBY, HENLEY, age 91, of Pelham, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Henley and Dessie Sanders Henley and was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Elston Clay; children Kerry, Wendell and Katie Clay.

She is survived by her children, Wayne and his wife, Lottie Clay of Pelham and Connie and her husband, Elmer Morris of Manchester; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in Warren Cemetery. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.

WINTON, JAMES, E., “JAMIE”, age 93, of the Cumberland Heights Community passed away Wednesday January 14, 2015 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer.  He was a retired Educator and a US Navy Veteran.  He was a member of the Church of Christ at Coalmont. He was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on October 21, 1921 to Leonard B. and Nina Campbell Winton who preceded him in death along with his wife, Jean Jacobs Winton; daughter, Rhonda K. Marconi; son, Gary Winton; sister, Ruth Northcutt; brothers, Dale and Wayne Winton.

He is survived by his son, James L. Winton, Coalmont; brothers, Ray (Doris) Winton, Coalmont and Howard (Mary Ann) Winton, Cowan; 6 grandchildren; several loving nieces and nephews.   Funeral services were held Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Ray Winton and Rusty Hargis officiating. Burial followed in the Coalmont Cemetery. Military Honors will be given by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.

ROLLINS, DENNIS, EDWARD, age 58, of Palmer, passed away at his home Friday morning January 16, 2015.  He was born in Whitwell, Tennessee on February 11, 1956.  Dennis was an avid sports fan.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Gholston Rollins. He is survived by his father, Richard Rollins; aunt, Betty Sue (Johnny) Harrison; uncles, Leonard (Anna) and Phillip (Marlon) Rollins; a host of cousins. Funeral services were held Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Tyler McCullough, Matthew Meeks and Joe Sanders officiating. Burial followed in the Palmer Cemetery.

HOBBS, EARL, EDWARD, age 80, of the Skymont Community passed away Saturday January 17, 2015.  He is survived by his special friend, neighbor and caregiver, Anna Swaney; sisters, Mary Ellen “Toodie” Myers, Altamont, Mildred (Franklin) Johnson, Hubbard’s Cove and Ruth Johnson, McMinnville; several nieces and nephews. He was born in McMinnville, Tennessee October 13, 1934 to Odie and Lyda Myers Hobbs who preceded him in death along with his infant sister, Mary Frances Hobbs; brothers, Delbert, Elmer and Billy Hobbs; wife, Grace Johnson Hobbs.  He was a member of the Light House Bible Church in Viola, Tennessee. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ralph Springer, Bro. T.L. Smith and Bro. David Lance officiating. Burial followed in the Altamont Cemetery.

SCISSOM, TINA, DIANNA, age 50, of Tracy City, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Scissom; grandparents, Henry and Maudie Scissom and Ozella Parks; uncle, Willis Parks.

She is survived by her daughters, Carlene (John) Hall and Marissa Orange, both of Tracy City; mother, Mary Scissom, Tracy City; brothers, Haskel (Tina) Scissom, Tracy City, Justin (Geneva) Scissom, Monteagle, Christopher Pruitt, Tracy City; sister, Malissa Scissom; grandchildren, TJ Scissom and Aaliyah Orange; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

CLAY, GEORGE, HARRIS, JR., age 56, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, in Crossville. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed in the food service business as a restaurant manager. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerome and Florence Bouldin; aunt, Dimple Bouldin Rollings. George loved nature, especially canoeing and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Clay of Crossville; mother, Elizabeth Bouldin McGee of Monteagle; brother, Bobby and his wife, Danielle McGee of Lorton, VA; aunt, Sue Bouldin Parrott; uncles, Jerome “Pete” Bouldin and LaDue “Boo” Bouldin all of Tracy City.
