SEALS, BILLY, W., age 67 of Winchester, TN, passed away December 17, 2013 at his home while surrounded by his family and friends. He was a lifelong farmer but for many years he worked side by side with Woody Perry, delivering propane, retiring from the work in 2011. He was a member of the Elk River Baptist Church and will be remembered by his family and friends as a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose priority in life was his family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Bates Seals and his father, Curnel Vincent Seals; brother-in-law, Don Finney. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Crownover Seals of Winchester; sons, Billy Wayne (Sherry) Seals, Jr. of Tullahoma, Tracy (Melany) Seals of Winchester and Jason (Vickie) Seals also of Winchester; sisters Jean (Bob) McKnight of Winchester and Doris Bunt Finney of Estill Springs; grandchildren, Karisha Seals, Keiandra Seals, Gage Seals, Colt Seals, C.J. Seals, Andrew Tankersley, Logan Seals and Eli Seals; close friends, Ronald “Woody” Perry and Johnny Seals; nephews Rick Finney and Ronnie McKnight; several other nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives. Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home on Friday, December 20 with Carl Roberts and Donald Gregory officiating. Interment was at Watson-North Memorial Park with Ronald “Woody” Perry, Johnny Seals, Derek Crownover, Rick Finney, Ronny McKnight and Frank Barnes serving as pallbearers.  Online condolences may be sent to  Arrangements were made by Watson-North Funeral Home, Winchester, TN.

SWEETON, HARVEY, MORGAN, age 80, of Tracy City, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his home. He was born in Coalmont, TN, on November 25, 1933, a son of the late Lawrence Sweeton and Margie Burnett Sweeton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Willard Sweeton; sister, Geraldine Scott and an infant sister and brother. He was retired from Rock Tenn and before that he had worked in the coalmines with his father when he was a young man and had various other jobs during his lifetime. Survivors include his brother, James (Alice) Sweeton; sisters, Lena (Lewis) Brown, Mabel (Ronnie) and Wilma Sue Woodlee, all of Coalmont; his very special family, Dorothy Prater, Johnny Prater, Bruce Prater, and the late Phyliss Green; lots of loving nieces and nephews including Darrin (Paula) Hampton. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 24 in the funeral home chapel with pallbearers Weldon Brown, Alan Sweeton, Richard Sweeton, Greg Woodlee, Darrin Hampton, Lebron Yokley, Brandon Le Bennett, Bradley Hampton, and Jeremy Brown.
