Mayor’s COVID-19 Update: Possible Grundy Co Case

Posted on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 2:38 pm

Grundy County Mayor Michael Brady made a public statement today, March 19, on Facebook, updating the public on a Grundy County man and his wife (who have dual residences in Grundy/Davidson counties) who have tested positive for COVID-19. Possible exposure to the two persons would have happened on or before March 5, and the mayor stated that people who had come in contact with them were self-quarentining and some individuals have been tested for the virus.

“It is believed that this person has had no contact with any Grundy County resident since March 5,” explained the Mayor.

The Mayor also asked residents to practice safe hygiene, and “above all, to pray.”
