Silverbait, LLC recently received the Agriculture Enterprise $50,000 match-ing funds grant through Grundy County at a presentation in Adams, Tennessee. These funds will provide three-phase power to Silverbait, LLC, and Campbell’s Poultry.
The infrastructure improvements were at no cost to Grundy County and will bring 28 new jobs to the area. The three-phase power to the agribusinesses will allow them the capability to expand.
Mayor Michael Brady stated, “Agriculture is vital to Grundy County and our local economy. We will always give support to agriculture – in any capacity. We need doctors and lawyers every now and again, but we need farmers every day of our lives.”
