L&L Mart and TBHC Fight Hunger

L&L MartL&L Mart and TBHC Delivers, the largest distributor of Hunt Brothers® Pizza, partnered together this month along with Appalachian Women’s Guild to help the hungry in Coalmont by accepting canned good donations in the store.

One in five children in the U.S. are food insecure, according to Feeding America. Many of those children live right here in Coalmont. That is why L&L Mart, TBHC Delivers and the Appalachian Women’s Guild joined together to help feed local families in need.

The food drive took place at L&L Mart from July 6 – 20. Visitors to the store brought in non-perishable food items or purchased them in-store and dropped them in the donation box at checkout. In exchange, the store and TBHC Delivers provided them with a coupon for one free Hunk of Hunt Brothers Pizza upon their next visit to the store.

L&L Mart worked with the Appalachian Women’s Guild to coordinate the drive and have the donated food delivered to local children and families who struggle with hunger.

This food drive is part of a nationwide initiative by TBHC Delivers called Provide, which strives to offer basic life necessities to those in need.
