Leaping into Learning

Posted on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 12:53 pm

Under the direction of Bobbie Sue Fugate, Stephanie Smith, and Sydney Masterson, the fourth through eighth grade LEAPS November class studied the Texas Revolution and ended the unit with an Art In History’s replica of an “Alamo” pot that dates from 1803-1845. The chocolate pot, or chololatera, was uncovered during an archaeological dig by the north entrenchment wall of the Alamo in San Antonio in 1974. This lesson covers the Texas Revolution, 1803-1845.
