The Lady Jackets secured second place in District 7AA over the last week and moved to 14-14 on the season and 3-3 in district play. They will host an opening round game in the district Friday against Bledsoe County at 6:00 pm.

“We’ve been playing up and down. We’re trying to get everything fine-tuned for the district tournament. Our goal all year has been to be playing our best ball come May 1st. We’ve shown glimpses of what we’re capable of and now it’s a matter of can we pull it together and make a run for it when it counts. We just have to be playing our best ball right now and show up every game no matter who or when it is,” said Coach Jason Evans.

Barring weather the Lady Jackets hosted Marion County Tuesday for senior night. Again the district tourney begins Friday with a home game against Bledsoe County. Get out and support the Lady Yellow Jackets this week!
