Beginning April 4, the Grundy County Herald will be delivered on Thursdays. Previously, the Herald was delivered to our dealers, racks throughout the county, and post offices on Wednesdays. With this change, readers can expect to see the latest edition of the Herald in stores and racks on Thursdays. Subscribers will see their papers hitting mailboxes one day later than they currently arrive.
This change will allow the Herald to include more late-breaking news in each edition. Deadlines for both advertising and editorial submissions will extend to 3 p.m., on Tuesday, for each week’s upcoming edition.
A subscription to the Grundy County Herald is a great way to get the latest news and save money. We offer money-saving subscription rates for local and non-local residents, as well as a special rate for senior citizens. For example, a local senior citizen subscription is $29, a savings of $23 if purchasing the paper each week at a local dealer. Each subscription comes with free access to our online edition of the Herald.
Please call 931-592-2781 with any questions regarding the new delivery date and deadlines, or to start a subscription today. Our current promotion enters you into a drawing for $500 when you become a subscriber!
