Grundy County Mayor Michael Brady, along with, County Register of Deeds Gayle VanHooser, County Court Clerk Tammy Sholey, County Trustee Tyler McCullough, Leadership Grundy, local Americore VISTA workers, and citizens recently visited the Tennessee State Capital and talked with state legislators. Some of the topics discussed were the economic development of Grundy County as well as tourism and agriculture. The group from Grundy County met with the Vice Commissioner of TDOT to discuss various road issues that Grundy County is facing and met with the Commissioner of Tourism regarding the development and utilization of our state parks. “I am very excited and feel very positive about our trip to the state capital. I look forward to the future progress of our county,” stated Brady.
