Two FFA students from Grundy County High School entered exhibits in the Agriscience Fair competition at the Tennessee State FFA Convention. Chynna Fults placed third in the Environmental and Natural Resources II division, while Isabella Knight placed fifth with her exhibit in the Plant Systems II division. Chynna’s study involved the effects of pollutants on algae in pond water, and Isabella studied the effects of oil on the growth of African violets. GCHS FFA member Josh Orange and Advisor Jerry Walling also attended the convention. Approximately 3,000 participants attended the 2015 state FFA convention held in Gatlinburg. Grundy Farm Bureau Women helped sponsor the trip. Pictured are: China Fults, and Isabella Knight.
