GCHS Homecoming 2016

“Rockin’ through the Decades”

Grundy County High School Homecoming 2016 is scheduled for September 16, with GCHS versus Upperman. The game will begin at 7 p.m.

Friday will be “Purple and Gold” day to get pumped for the game by wearing purple and gold to show your Grundy pride! A Homecoming pep rally will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Layout 1The 2016 Homecoming Parade will begin with line up at the Coalmont Fire Department at 12:30 p.m. and will begin at 1:30 p.m. Students will be able to leave school at noon if they have turned in a signed parent permission form (no phone calls will be accepted). Student will not need to return to school after the parade. Buses will run on regular schedule. Floats: Seniors – 1980s; Juniors – 1990s; Sophomores – 1950s; and Freshmen – 1970s.

The ceremony for the Football Court attendants will take place at 6 p.m. The 2016 Football Homecoming Court includes; Senior Attendants: Karastin Anderson, Chloe Scissom, and Kelsi Mott; Honoree Senior Attendant: Senior Football Manager Amber Graham; Junior Attendant: Kristin Weaver; Sophomore Attendant: Hannah Sylvester; and Freshman Attendant: Sophia Layne.

The student body homecoming ceremony will take place during halftime of the game.
