Grundy County High School’s Class of 2015 celebrated the conclusion of their high school years Thursday, May 21, during a chilly graduation ceremony at Crisp Field. Temperatures dropped throughout the day, but that did not stop family and friends from filling the stadium to watch their loved ones accept their high school diplomas. Mallory Seals opened the ceremony with a prayer. Emily Masters, Valedictorian, and Terrince Bramhall, Salutatorian, addressed the class and encouraged them to remember their time at the school as they move on to college and work. Murfreesboro Mayor Shane McFarland, a 1992 graduate of Grundy County High School, was the keynote speaker, giving the seniors helpful advice for their future. Diplomas were awarded to the students and Sam Cassidy closed the ceremony in prayer.
