Kevin Dunlap, 43rd District State Representative, presented a flag previously flown over the state capital to Tracy City Elementary School on Friday. Dunlap said the flag was flown over the capital in honor of the school’s academic achievements. TCES was named a Reward School and is in the top five percent of all schools in the state, based on scores from last year’s state tests. “You are the only school in Grundy County to be recognized as a Reward School,” Dunlap told TCES students, faculty, and staff. “You should be proud of your teachers, your community, and your school.” Dunlap challenged the students to make this school year their best.
