Overnight on February 28, Grundy County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped Donna Shadrick (47) of Sequatchie, Tennessee, for suspicion of DUI in Palmer. During the course of the investigation, deputies found suspected methamphetamine wrapped in one-dollar bills and what they believed to be fentanyl wrapped in a five-dollar bill. A field-test kit confirmed the presence of fentanyl.
Shadrick has been charged with DUI, possession of Schedule II drugs, possession of Schedule IV drugs, and possession of drugs for resale. In addition to the drugs, deputies seized $750 from Shadrick.
