Cosmotology Wins at Competition

On November 5, students from the Grundy County High School cosmetology program attended the Skills Competition at Love Beauty School in Manchester, with their instructor Jamie Richardson.
Competition winners include: Alexis Cannon, third in Ladies Cuts, $2,500; Paige Roden, third in Nail Art Designs, $2,500; Christa Bridges with model Alaina Dyer, third in Fantasy Makeup, $2,500; Shawnee Demotta, second in Hair Braiding, $5,000; Carmellia Ramos, third in Guys Cuts, $2,500; and Bell Underwood with model Korbin Hornbuckle, second in Formal/Runway Hairstyling and second in Guys Cut, $10,000.
All winners received scholarships as well as prize packages. All attendees received coupons for a free hairstyle.
Richardson would like to say thanks and congratulations to all her students for a job well done.
