The attendance department is adding a new monthly trophy for most improved attendance in various categories. This award was given to the most improved PreK Class. Coalmont Elementary PreK had a 98.15% attendance for the month of August. It is important that during the pandemic we continue to stay focused on the importance of attendance. Students as young as PreK start to form an opinion about school and attendance. Parents that remain firm in their commitment to their child’s education, will place a high value on being present and engaged every day.
