Buddy Bears Are A Success

The partnership between the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and Kendale James is proving to be a successful one. Kendale’s “Buddy Bears” was started in August after she and Sheriff Clint Shrum worked out the details and partnered up for a program to benefit the entire county.

Buddy BearsThe total number of bears donated for the months of August and September were 255. Kendale will make rounds and collect bears the first week of each month until there are no more bears to be collected.

If you would like to donate and help out, donations can be made at the following locations: Northcutt’s Market, Pelham; Tower Community Bank, Monteagle; Untangled Salon, Monteagle; Teresa’s Avon Store, Tracy City; Tenacity Adventure Fitness, Tracy City; Taste of Ink, Tracy City; Street’s Auto Parts, Tracy City; Save-a-Lot, Tracy City; Mountain Graphics, Tracy City; Register of Deeds Office, Gayle VanHooser, Altamont; Rusty’s Barber Shop, Gruetli; Amy Anderson, Coalmont or Beersheba Springs and the Gizzard Grill, Tracy City.
